Send This Girl to Camp ( or France)

April 8, 2014.
I decided to post a painting that is post card size created from a couple photos I took while in Ireland in 1992.  This will give you an idea of the type of work I am offering on my new Indiegogo site. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/painting-in-provence is the link. I am offering perks for different dollar contributions.  Some perks are post card sized paintings mailed from France.  Creating the Indiegogo site was very challenging and now the goal is to promote it.  You can pull it up and click to follow so you will see how I am progressing.  Please share it with art lovers or lovers of all things French. Merci beau coup.

The past few weeks I have been cutting mats and gathering paintings for the big Spring Studio Sale
(this is also named "send this girl to camp sale").  "Camp" being some weeks painting in Provence.  I have matted and wrapped over 40 new paintings.  That is just the watercolors.  There are many oils and acrylics as well.

The sale days and times are Friday April 11 from 4 to 9.  Saturday April 12 from 11 to 4. Light refreshments will be served. If you can't attend either of those times I will be happy to make an appointment with you. Please email me for my home studio address if you don't know it.
Prices are slashed.  I have never cut prices to such a degree before and can't imagine I will do this again.  Paintings that were $1200 are now $350 and $400.  If you have wanted an original work of art but it wasn't in the budget, this could be your opportunity. April is sale month.  I do accept credit cards now.

For those of you who live too far to visit the sale, I will also be posting some paintings on facebook during  April  Here is the link for that  https://www.facebook.com/CreativeArtsWorkshopDenver.

The departure date for my trip is quickly approaching.  I will be posting more often now.  If you put your email address in the box provided to follow this blog you will receive an email every time I post.  It is another way to be part of the adventure.  I'd love it if you joined in the fun.
